It is not thousands that walk the towpath, Joanne, but hundreds of millions we are told by CaRT.  We must all have seen the (what is it?) 600 odd walkers every mile every day over the last couple of weeks, now haven't we?

Solve the problem of funds

Why can't CaRT collect 50p from each of the thousands they tell us walk the towpath everyday and that would solve the problem of funding.
