CaRT don't have the money

I KNOW it is the thing at the moment to complain about the state of the waterways, but the complainers seem  to miss one thing, and that is that Canal & River Trust just do not have the money.

CaRT lost interest

I agree with James Henry that Canal & River Trust has lost interest in its core responsibility, and not only its neglect of maintenance but also of its control of illegal mooring.

Like the others who write on the internet I too know of boats that move just about half a mile and back again every fortnight to fiddle their supposed continuous cruising, with nothing done about them though I and I know of two others who have complained.
