Brought under control

The burning boat was drifting towards Kingston Bridge before it was brought under control by two teams of firefighters from Kingston and Surbiton fire stations.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by both the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police.

The boat was completely destroyed by the fire but there was no one on board at the time so no report of any injuries.
