THERE IS LITTLE DOUBT that the article by the National Bargees Travellers Association has raised some replies.

For together with the one from John Coxon and another now from Roger Baker, Ray Smith raises a point:

It seems to me the boater mentioned in this article who has shared access to his daughter, that to enable him to do the school run, he
needs a permanent mooring with the appropriate licence.

A continuous cruising licence being totally unsuitable in such circumstances.
