No hydraulic oil!

THE  Huddersfield Narrow Canal is currently closed due to lack of hydraulic oil.

So the trust have now some on order, Keith Gudgin reports.

It was the lack of the oil on Ramsden Lock 14E that was too low, so boaters get blamed for leaving the paddle open.

Drained the pound

This has drained the pound between locks 14E and 15E.

But the trust now has some on order, but not understood why such a commodity is not in stock.

However the trust tells it will have the oil so the pound can be filled and the navigation reopened.
