IT WAS good to read of Richard Parry having a day with a boat crew cleaning-up the Chesterfield Canal, writes E Lang.
Perhaps he will now take a days' trip on one of the northern canals, and see for himself its state, always considering there isn't a stoppage of course.
Took trips on boats
I remember when he first arrived on the scene he did take a few days with boat crews, but this was when all was in much better condition after British Waterways had control. I believe he will find a difference.
