Working volunteers

A SMALL group of volunteers has been formed to carry out small works under the supervision of the British Waterways co-ordinator for the Wales and Border Counties area.

The work is being done at the request of the British Waterways Manager, Wendy Capelle, writes Richard Hall.

The latest project was to install a gate near Quoisley Lock on the Llangollen Canal where the path from the towpath has a dangerous exit on to the very busy A49 main road where it crosses the canal.
