Filling boaters' skips

I’M SURE all travelling boaters have noticed the reduction of refuge facilities across the system, writes Brian D Jarrett.

Forced to carry several bags on your boat before finding a suitable disposal facility.

Two loaded trucks

It was interesting to see two Canal & river Trust fully loaded tucks turn up to the 'Boater Facilities' at Nantwich to unload an assortment of rubbish to fully load the one skip and over half full the other!

They are obviously having the same problem as boaters to find facilities that are not overloaded !
