That didn't last long!

THE two water points at Great Haywood are out of action again.

The Trent & Mersey water points were only repaired on the 26th of July, Keith Gudgin reports.

The repair lasted just two weeks, with Canal & River Trust not giving any details of the new failure, only that it is a leak.

Last time

Last time is was stated it was a leak before the boundary box/meter, but unfortunately Severn Trent needed to excavate the roadway before a repair could be executed.

This is an important water supply to boaters, other such service being many miles away in each of the three directions.
