A fine example of a 'bodge it'

OVER the years we have received many examples of 'bodge it'.

Especially since contractors have taken over the repairs to locks, but here is one sent in by Brian Cavill that takes some beating, he remarking:

I wonder when that will get fixed properly! Rotten on the top only, due to lack of maintenance (paint). Nice new shiny blue map and sign adjacent though'.

We certainly agree, and it is the lack of maintenance time and time again that causes such a 'bodge' and its resulting stoppage and high cost.
