Not a good cruise

I AM pleased that Andrew G Fall enjoyed his trip along the canal, writes Kevin McNiff.

I have to agree with Brian Jarrett, however. Our sojourn down to the RN Rally on the Avon at Stratford was a catalogue of overhanging vegetation, silted up locks and very difficult to operate paddle gear.

Gates that are out of balance and passing other boats a blind challenge.

I too will no longer venture down it.
