Discrimination against narrowboats

A NEW update from Canal & River Trust is most confusing and shows discrimination against narrowboats.

It tells that Braunston Tunnel on the Grand Union Canal will be open for emergencies only, Keith Gudgin reports.

Starts today

This starts from today, Thursday, but is open should you want water or a pump-out!

Wide beams however are exempt—they are allowed through providing they book in advance.

Discrimination

So it is closed to all except in emergency, but not wide beams.  How about that for discrimination against narrowboats?
