Does C&RT now stand for Cycling & Running Track?

AN EXCELLENT suggestions form 'our Man at the Summit' who suggests the new interpretation of the Trust's initials.

His experience walking the summit of the Grand Union prompts his suggestion, telling us:

Busy

"Out today walking around Marsworth, Startops and Tringford reservoirs.  A couple of day hire boats from Cow Roast, Bulbourne to Marsworth busy with private boats, walkers, families, cyclists and runners (does CaRT also stand for Cycling and Running Track?)"

He tells us a sunken workboat had been marked by a large orange bouy last week, but today the bouy had gone but the boat still lurks just beneath the surface.

Draining away overnight

Since that pound is usually empty in the mornings after draining away overnight, surely there are opportunities to re-float, he suggests.
