IN ADDITION TO THE broken paddles listed as being out of order by Victor, yesterday, Sunday, there are two more that have closed navigations.
Lee Navigation
Picketts Lock (pictured) on the Lee Navigation is now closed due to a paddle being jammed.
So the lock is inoperable and navigation closed.
There is no further information at present as to its repair.
Grand Union Canal
Knowle Lock 50 on the Grand Union Canal has a damaged paddle.
The top end of the paddle is damaged and is allowing water to come through, that is preventing the lock being operated.
And so the navigation is closed.
