Another warning about the Soar

AND still they come—warnings about that sand bank on the Soar.

There is now the third one in as many weeks warning of a sand bank on the river above Radcliffe Lock, Keith Gudgin reports.

Once again Canal & River Trust give out the same warning of 'some known sand banks on the Soar' and that boats have been stuck.  One actually, that was pulled off, though not on the river but above the lock on the cut.

Perhaps instead of the continuing warnings the Trust should do something about it, but alas there is no intimation of any dredging in the near future.
