Yobs have time on their hands

I NOTICED that the gang indulging in the pastime of pushing young women into the canal are judged to be between 14 and 17 writes Jim Cracken.

Obviously school-kid bullies who now have too much time on their hands and little brain, so picking on defenceless women as a pastime yet even in their masses still scared of picking on men.

Not saying much for the future

If these bullies are an example of our future and the result of the mollycoddling meted out at both home and school it is not saying much for the future.

I have never felt really secure on the upgraded cycleways of our towpaths these days, where yobs are getting more and more prevalent and of course getting away with whatever they want, either tearing along on their cycles a danger to all or, as now, taking up the 'hobby' of pushing women into the water.
