THERE has been an outbreak of rubbish being dumped by the towpath on the summit pound of the Grand Union Canal.
This time the rubbish has been dumped on the towpath at Bulbourne not 40 yards from the Grand Junction Arms recycling bins, 'Our Man on the Summit' tells us.
Boater responsible
For some reason the dog food tins have had the wrappers removed, which would possibly identify the person who is dumping the litter, that it is believed to be a boater.
The Summit is usually litter free, the Tring Anglers Bailiffs must have stepped up their game as at one time sweetcorn tins were scattered around the towpath, that are not seen anymore.
