Death was carbon monoxide poisoning

IT SEEMS the police were too hasty in arresting a man over the death of a woman on a narrowboat moored on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. (Man arrested for 'narrowboat' death).
It has been discovered that the woman died from carbon monoxide poisoning and that there was no foul play, Joan Peel tells us.
Lived together
The couple in fact lived together on the narrowboat that was moored by the Anchor Inn at Salterforth, Barnoldswick, with the man arrested over the then unexplained death of the woman.
