Where would we put them all?

A further observation on T Lang's excellent post 'I just don't get it', writes Ian Waters.
The population of the UK is 67,863,724 according to the live count on the Worldometer site 23/1/2024.
More than the entire population
Canal & River Trust says that there are 900,000,000 people living within 10 minutes of a canal. This is 832,136,276 more people than the entire population of the UK.
So we would need 832,136,276 visitors to the UK (at any one time).
As we struggle to house our own population, I wonder where we would put them all?
