Sykehouse Lift Bridge quickly repaired

ATTENDED to by engineers, Sykehouse Lift Bridge(7) was quickly repaired.
This lift bridge failed on Saturday and was repaired this morning (Monday) Keith Gudgin reports.
Quickly discovered
A fault had developed with the bridge on the New Junction Canal making it inoperable for boaters at the week-end, but engineers attended and quickly discovered the fault and had it repaired.
We were not informed of what the fault was or how it needed repairing, however it is now done and the navigation clear.
