Huddersfield Narrow closed again

FOR the third time this month the Huddersfield Narrow is closed to navigation.

This time between locks 12W and 13W, but this time due to third party works, Keith Gudgin reports.

Gas pipes

The navigation and towpath are currently closed to allow contractors to inspect gas pipes.

These are situated below both the towpath and navigation, causing both to be closed from yesterday, Tuesday.
