A CYCLIST has been critically injured in a head-on collision with another cyclist on a towpath.

The two cyclists crashed on the Thames towpath in Richmond yesterday, Tuesday, Roger Fox reports.

Crashed on a bend

They crashed into each other on a bend in the early morning at 7.30am, with the emergency services alerted.

Both the cyclists were taken to hospital with one man being in a critical condition and the police attempting to inform the next of kin.

The police enquiries continue.
