Shock news from Calor

CALOR has has announced that it has stopped supplying a range of small gas cylinders.

The cylinders to be discontinued are Calor’s Cube, 3.9kg Propane, 4.5kg Butane, 6Litre Propane and 12kg Butane cylinders, reports Alasdair Lawrance.

Mostly used by cruisers

These include the sizes used mostly by those with cruisers and to an extent by those with narrowboats for various reasons.

In a statement, a spokesman for Calor revealed:

“We realise this change will affect customers that rely on these sizes, but we know these changes are necessary to significantly improve our cylinder service.”

Last year Calor halted sales of its canisters on its own website, citing high demand and supply problems.
