Take the opportunity

JUST a thought, but seeing as the water levels are at such a low level on so many of the northern and central canals, writes Wayne Abbott.

Why don't CaRT take the opportunity to repair, replace, renew or rebuild all the decay, faults, alleged vandalism and neglect, that have obviously been caused by or been omitted from the winter works programs to bring the system back to somewhere near a usable facility?

Would see value for money

At least this way us boaters would see value for money on our licence fees, meaning we can actually participate in a cruise around the system, give credence to the people (so few) who are still proud to be an employee of CaRT, and restore faith and trust in the future—after all for once it can't all be their fault—can it?
