Caught in the ruckus

Overload

The ruckus was caused by someone instructing people it was the last day to send in gas meter readings, with the resulting surge in internet use causing not only the gas people's site but many on the same server to overload.

This affected such as narrowboatworld and others that had excessive traffic. The site will be back tomorrow morning.
