Second boat damaged on Oxford Canal

THE emergency services were called to a partly sunken damaged cruiser on the Oxford Canal on Tuesday.

This follows another cruiser being burnt-out earlier this year in nearly the same place on the waterway, Roger Fox reports.

No occupants

Fire crews were called to the partially sunken cruiser on the outskirts of Coventry, that it is reported had been damaged, with no occupants.

This happened just yards from where the other cruiser was completely burnt out in April, (pictured) with its charred remains still on the canal.
