Comorants pinching the trout at low reservoir

Published: Friday, 23 October 2020

THERE are some very upset anglers who fish the Grand Union Canal reservoirs.

HowardPuddleFor 'Our Man at the Summit' tells us the water level in Tringford Reservoir is so low that the cormorants are gettig fat on the trout that are living in not much more than a shallow puddle, as his photograph shows.

Other levels normal

Yet he also tells us that the levels at the other reservoirs are normal except the one where the cormorants are feeding.

We understand the anglers are not at all happy!
