Atherstone Flight closed again

The Atherstone Flight on the Coventry Canal is closed again by a broken lock gate.

This time our Keith Gudgin is 'the man on the job' as he is stuck on the flight moving towards the broken lock, telling us that last time Lock 10 broke, now it's Lock 11 that closes the flight!  

Stuck until it is repaired

Keith is stuck at lock 6 at the moment and moving towards 11 so stuck there until it is open again!

Canal & River Trust state the gate beam is broken, but 'our team will try to carry out repair works as soon as possible'.
