Lock keepers' cottages at auction

The Canal & River Trust is selling off a pair of lock keepers’ cottages on the Severn.

The pair of cottages is besides the lock at Holt Heath and they are being sold at auction, with a great deal of interest, a spokesman for Bond Wolfe Auctions states.

Creating great interest

Already there have been over 20 viewing of the two properties, that are situated at Holt Heath near Grimley between Stourport and Worcester, Alan Tilbury reports, with their situation by the side of the river creating great interest.

The former lock keepers' cottage is a Grade II property with reception hall, two further rooms, kitchen, bathroom and WC, and utility room on the ground floor.  It has two bedrooms on the first floor. The property has front, side and rear gardens with off road parking and garage.
