Chesterfield Canal Trust shop now open

THOUGH the western end of the Chesterfield Canal is not open to boating it is to others.

Walkers, cyclists and the like use its towpaths over its length, with handy vehicle parking facilities along the route.

Holiingwood

One of these, with an extensive car park is at Hollingwood near Staveley with Katey's Coffee Shop, though at this time only open for takeaways, but there is seating outside.

And now the Chesterfield Trust Hollingwood Hub shop has reopened on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 3pm, by the side of Katey's with further weekday opening being orginised.
