Workers risking spreading coronavirus

YESTERDAY I sent a tweet to CART requesting them to keep moorers in Overwater Marina safe from workmen immediately outside the Marina spreading Covid-19, writes Amy Dickerson.

They are constructing a cycle-way from Audlem to Bridge 80 on the Shropshire Union Canal. They have built a wharf outside the marina.

Not two metres apart

Yesterday I observed them working whilst not keeping themselves two metres apart from one another.  In my opinion this work is in no way essential and should be stopped forthwith.

Suffice to say CaRT have failed to reply to my tweet. Why am I as a boater not surprised by this?
