Stratford River Festival cancelled

THE Stratford River Festival is the latest event to join those cancelled by coronavirus.

Due to take place on the week-end of the 4th-5th July, its organisers, Stratforward, have agreed that the 'escalating situation with coronavirus means that it is prudent to make the decision now to minimise financial and public health risks', Roger Fox reports.

Major event

The festival is a major event for Stratford with the river banks thronged with activities in addition of course to the water attractions, but like so many others the control of the disease has taken priority.

In the current climate it is perhaps wise to accept that all waterway attractions will be cancelled until coronavirus is conquered.
