Moorings already there

THE moorings shown in the artist's impression (Decade old waterfront scheme resurrected) of the development at Wishbech are already there.
Our past columnist, Kelvin Alexander-Duggan, points out that those moorings were constructed over 20 years ago and are owned by Fenland Council and produce an annual income for the council, after costs, of over £100,000.
Well used
The moorings are well used and are the overnight stopping point for boaters doing the Wash crossing to and from Boston.
