Waste of chippings

IT'S SO good to see the work going on at the Coventry Canal cutting back the overhanging trees and shrubs on this stretch of canal, writes Brian D Jarrett.

But, would it not be better for the wood chipping to be spread along the boggy towpath as opposed to throwing them into the hedge!
