In defence of CaRT

ALTHOUGH I am not a great supporter of CaRT I am afraid that I must come to its defence, writes Martin Cox.

This is about the closure notice on Lock 6 on the Atherstone Flight on the Coventry Canal.

Link showed correct details

I received a closure email 21st July (17.19) which did have a slight location mistake although the map link showed the correct details. I also received the reopening email 23rd July (10.24).

Sometimes unless your computer is set to recognise emails from CaRT as 'friendly' your email server will treat them as spam.

Did very well

In this particular case I think CaRT did very well considering that at the same time they were coping with the police investigation after the fatality at Lock 8 on the flight.
