IT WOULD seem that those at Canal & River Trust were very put-out at losing the case against Andy Wingfield (Concerns on the part of the Trust) and are hanging on to his money that it illegally took for moorings he did not have.

It was on the 11th April 2014 that CaRT was again supplied with the information of the amount it owed to Andy, requested as part of its delaying tactics, that included wasted court appearances costing the Trust  £38,400 (Is it just spite?). Two years—yet still nothing has been received.

Statutory demand

But it is now the intention to personally serve a Statutory Demand on Richard Parry as the CEO of CaRT for the amount owing should payment not be quickly forthcoming.

Helping Andy with his terrible experience with CaRT, our Pam Pickett has informed Richard Parry that this matter is getting out of hand, though backed by the fact that officials Graham Waldron and Paul Griffin have both instructed the Licensing and Mooring Team with regard to the necessity to pay the monies due into Andy Wingfield's bank account. She has now informed the CEO of the intention of serving a Statutory Demand for the money owed to Andy.

Not very professional

Pam herself has attempted to get action from the licensing department, explaining:

"Speaking to the licensing team on the 9th July I was greeted with 'are you that woman who is complaining about a refund already made'! Not very professional! Not that I was in the end—incandescent describes my mood!

"Asked in a further call to advise Andy's bank details she actually 'growled' at me when I asked she read the details back! From the correspondence I have—sent to me no doubt in error—they do not like Andy Wingfield, hence I think the delays.

"After all he 'compromised' their first court case by agreeing to take a mooring leaving them bound by the judge, to honour it. That Helen Under Hill and Stuart Garner gave a wrong sum for the mooring certainly put a cat amongst the pigeons at CaRT with no less than 11 people then being involved‎ inclusive of solicitors!

It seems Andy got off light with £589.44 for a mooring on a shirty piece of bank and scuppered CaRT's 'Buy it Now' market auction value of £713! I question not only the competence of the Trust but most certainly also it's ethics!"
