JERRY MARSHALL WHO IS attempting to paddle the Weaver on an inflatable cow is doing it the hard way.
He tells us he has decided he isn't going to paddle downstream but upstream—that is definitely the hard way!

Only five days to go before his mad event, telling us that he has been training hard and it has been great to see that many people recognise me as he goes past.
The support boat is a 57ft semi-trad narrowboat plus a small inflatable with an electric outboard.
Currently, the weather forecast is looking good for Saturday/Sunday, but the winds are expected to be W/NW. So instead of paddling downstream from Winsford, I’m planning to start at Marsh Lock at end at Winsford.
Funding
The effort is getting funds by Jerry and named the Weaver Cow, with Jerry being the founder of the charity Transformational Enterprise Network, that supports projects in an East African nation which helps people to get income from various methods and so reduce dependence on aid.
