YET again, Canal & river Trust report that the sanitary station at Braunston is out of action.
Its failure was reported yesterday, Tuesday, Keith Gudgin tells us, and is the one that failed twice last year, leaving a bit of stink in its wake.
Requires rebuilding
Once again the contractors have been made aware of the failure, but it is widely believed that that particular sanitary station is not fit for purpose and requires completely rebuilding into one that does not keep failing.
Perhaps a more reliable design would solve the problem
