THE terrible weather in the north has been terrible over the Christmas period and must have flooded canals as well as the rivers, writes Roger Fox.
It is hard to believe that there will not be major damage to some canal structures. I find it astonishing that there have been no warning notices sent out by CaRT about the situation.Nothing
Even a general one listing the affected canals and advising against navigation would have been a gesture, but we have had nothing. It would be good to see an explanation of the lack of action.
