Still Napton Flight restrictions

THOUGH Canal & River Trust told that Napton Flight was now open after the repair to the wall of Lock 10, there are still restrictions in place.

The flight was closed again at 7pm yesterday (Friday) on the day it re-opened, with the last boat allowed through that particular lock at 6.30, Keith Gudgin tells us.

Ongoing restrictions

CaRT advise that there will be an ongoing restrictions to these locks with its staff on hand to assist boats through.

The restrictions are that no boats will be allowed through the locks after 4pm on Saturday and Sunday and no boats after 5pm weekdays, obviously in view of the state of the flight.
