Looking good for GU

THE water situation on the summit level of the Grand Union is looking good, with the reservoirs well up after the rain.
The photograph taken today (Thursday) by 'our man on the spot' shows Wilstone Reservoir with its level just 12 to 14 inches from its overflow spill, which when reached means the reservoir will be full.
Longer to recover
Marsworth Reservoir has about the same to go before it overflows into Startops Reservoir, which however is taking a little longer to recover.
Tringford is now full after the rain, so there seems little reason for restrictions.
