River Great Ouse flasher

Published: Wednesday, 25 January 2012

THE River Great Ouse Flasher has still not been caught after two months of exposing himself along its banks at Bedford.

Unlike the 'normal' flasher who exposes himself as people walk past him, this one is usually found sitting under a tree, though he has been seen walking by the river by the recreation ground, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Investigation

Police constable James Wildman, who is in charge of the investigation would like to hear from anyone who has been 'flashed at', explaining:

"Often people don't bother to report incidents of this nature, but it's important that we do hear from people as we believe this man may have been carrying out offences for some time.

"I'd urge anyone who has been a victim to come forward as we need to build up as full a picture as possible of what has been happening."

LATEST: A man has now been arrested and charged in connection with an offence of outraging public decency.
