Email: Increasing charges

I wonder if anyone else has noticed that British Waterways in its latest Boaters update, are increasing all electricity charges.

Not only that, they are increasing without any discussion, the pump-out charges from £10 to £14.75!

 

I remember the last time they tried to increase the fee way beyond inflation rates. Can anyone advise the best way to protest in order to reduce this massive increase.

My own view is that pump-outs should be free as part of the licence fee, after all there is no charge for disposal of cassette waste, and the Environment Agency only charges for pump-outs on the Thames.
