Yob slings boater's puppy off building
A YOB threw a boater's puppy off a 50ft car park in Oxford after it had strayed from the narrowboat.
The 18 months old lurcher had it leg fractured as it hit the road below, whining in agony, and may have to have its leg amputated, Alan Tilbury reveals.Shocked
The puppy strayed from Jenny Brierley's boat, moored on the Oxford Canal, and she reported it missing, but was shocked to received a call from the RSPCA stating that it had been seen being thrown from the top of a multi storey car park, and was injured.
Witnesses saw Ragga falling to the ground and contacted the police, who alerted the RSPCA, with Jenny picking the dog up from a local vet, who told her there were two options, to either pin the leg together or amputate.
Remarked 21 years old Sally:
"I can't understand what goes through someone's head to do something like that. What a horrible person."
An investigation in underway to attempt to discover who threw the animal off the fourth floor of the building, with a spokesman for the RSPCA stating it was an 'absolutely cruel and horrific thing to do which would be guaranteed to cause that animal a lot of pain'.
