Volunteer skippers wanted

VOLUNTEER skippers are needed for a new wide beam boat that  takes young and disabled people for trips on the Grand Union Canal at Hemel Hempstead.

The organisation Reach Out Plus needs helpers on a regular basis and who have a current Boatmasters certificate, or the desire to obtain one.

Administrative assistant

Also an administrative assistant is required to help at the boat base at Nash Mills, the role includes helping with the co-ordination of volunteers and keeping records.

The organisation state that patience, empathy and a sense of fun is needed for this role.
