Lee narrowboat burgled

BURGLARS again stuck on the Lee Navigation, this time at Cheshunt, breaking into a narrowboat and stealing contents.

Altogether a laptop, bottles of alcohol and a knife in a leather case were stolen when the boat was broken into over last week-end, Alan Tilbury tells us.

On moorings

Though it was moored with other boats, it was the last of the line, and no one saw the boat being broken into, with the rest of the boats on the moorings remaining secure.

In the past other boats on the Lee have been broken into and items stolen, as reported in narrowboatworld.
