Man missing after Thames rescue

A MAN is missing after saving his daughter from the Thames yesterday (Thursday) though the police are continuing the search.

His teenage daughter fell into the water at Cookham Lock, (pictured) and he went in to rescue her, and though she managed to scramble out, the father did not.

Little time

The incident happened at 10pm, that gave Thames Valley Police little time to search before it was too dark, but they resumed searching the river this morning

The man was seen to be in difficulties in the water, that caused the emergency services to be brought to the scene.
