Email: Sod the boaters

It is ridiculous to take ten days to demolish such a small bridge, as the one on the Oxford Canal.

A bit of organisation (and a will) it could be done with a canal closure of 24 hours with minimal disruption to the paying boaters.

Is this more Health & Safety stupidity? No wonder they keep loosing our money.

Or on second thoughts sod the boaters, if the canal is closed for ten days that's a hell of a bill we (British Waterways) can land on Punch Taverns. Not cynical.
