Stupid cows too!

IT IS not only stupid people who risk drowning from walking on the frozen canals, but animals too.

This cow fancied a drink, so took to walking along the Bridgewater Canal at Runcorn to find it, as the picture by  Tina Moorhouse shows.

No water

The cow came along the side of the canal to the water, obviously to drink, but found there was no water there, so strolled across the waterway to find it.

It was even seen the following day wandering along the frozen waterway, but eventually realised there was nothing to drink, went back the way it had come.

At least, the cow hadn't the sense to realise its danger, people of supposedly higher intelligence, have...
