A CONTRIBUTOR TELLS US that many towpath lights are missing in Chester.
At the last count there are 13 lights along the towpath that are missing, that leaves the area by the canal is darkness.
He tells he now moors in Chester and have reported to Cheshire Council that 13 lights are not working along the towpath between the centre of Chester and Northgate Locks.
Extremely dark
Certain areas are extremely dark and have a very narrow towpath which is heavily used by pedestrians, joggers and cyclists.
They clearly have neglected these for a while as there are also lights that are completely covered over by unkempt trees and bushes.
Perhaps a little article he tells, could point to them and might give them a nudge to do something about it .
